Who are we? The Arenbergorkest is the largest symphonic student orchestra in Leuven, with about ninety musicians. Each semester we organise a thematic concert, such as: Bangelijk, Eigen Kweek, Epos, Ontwapend, …
Our programme is a mix of classical music, film music and everything in between! Ranging from Van Beethoven’s fifth symphony to John Williams’ Star Wars, from the musical music from Leonard Bernstein, to the dark tango from Astor Piazzola, from The Great Gate of Kiev from Modest Mussorgsky to Disney Classics such as Frozen and Belle and the Beast.

The Arenbergorkest wants to offer students the opportunity to make music in a wonderful atmosphere, in addition to their studies, and anticipate together to a fantastic concert. However, there are quickly some costs to cover when organising such concert. This is why we call upon supporters (also “patrons” in a cultural context), who broaden our possibilities with their financial support.
For between €70 and €200, we offer several benefits, among which (a) ticket(s) for each concert series, reserved seats, …, and of course our eternal gratitude!
